2022 is the year of a very important milestone for the Division, which has developed its business strategy by looking
at both the European and American markets thanks to the subsidiary in New Jersey, MG America

Everything comes from MG2 Management need to expand the product portfolio, from the primary packaging, which was already the core business of the company based in Pianoro, to the secondary packaging and the end-of-line solutions. The opportunity arised in 1997 when MAB, a historic company in the packaging sector based in Funo di Argelato (BO) and operating in the world market since 1980, was acquired

By taking advantage of the experience gained in the pharmaceutical process and by identifying the points of contact between the two business sectors, MG2 has developed various and highly customizable solutions, thus optimising internal design costs while maintaining all the quality and the reliability being typical of MG2 machines.

In fact, in the packaging world, each solution can be completely different from the others and projects, whether they are for pharmaceutical-nutraceuticals or for cosmetics, may require customization and the search for always new and reliable technical solutions.

Over the years, MG2 has thus managed to complete the product portfolio at all stages of packaging: today it offers complete lines that include blistering machines, cartoners, forming machines, case packers and palletizers. [See the full portfolio here]

Today, the technical evolution and a new sensitivity, which has also affected the world of packaging, call MG2, as 25 years ago, to new challenges. This is the case of sustainability: nowadays one of the main drivers is the use of recyclable packaging materials, which beside MG2 establishing itself as a supplier of complete lines, capable of managing even this type of green products, has allowed the company to acquire more and more shares in a highly competitive market.

MG2. Keeping ahead for you
